The Whitehorse Montessori Society (Montessori Borealis Preschool) and the Yukon Parents for Montessori Society (Yukon Montessori School) now function under their one school name of Yukon Montessori School. 

The Yukon Montessori School currently has two Casa classrooms, a Lower (grades 1-3) class, and and Upper (grades 4-7) class and is staffed with an AMI (Association Montessori International) trained head teacher’s and Child Care Worker certified assistant teachers.

Students in our program are exposed to learning situations which include the major areas of Montessori curriculum: practical life, sensorial, language, math, and cultural subjects. The basic academic curriculum is enriched by art, music and outdoor experiences.
